What Role For Water In Copenhagen?

Blogactiv spoke to Paul Horton at the 5th Annual Conference of the European Water Association in Brussels. Mr Horton is the Chairman of the EWA Climate Change Working Group. He told us of some worrying developments in the run-up to the Copenhagen Conference about the role of water in the discussions.

    Yes, water should definitely be included in the list of topics for Copenhagen talks! A cause for alarm are the findings of World Bank which said that by 2050, India would go dry and waterless! It was also reported that 60 percent of the world’s population could suffer from water scarcity by this time.
